Concert with Chuck Lazarus, the Miro Quartet & Jorja Fleezanis
I will be traveling to Stillwater (not far from Minneapolis), MN next week to be a featured guest of the White Pine Festival, where I will join the Charles Lazarus Group in performing some of my new jazz works. Chuck, a trumpeter for the Minnesota Orchestra, is hailed for his “bedazzling technique and refined sense of musicianship†by the New York Newsday.
There, renowned violinist and headliner Jorja Fleezanis, former concertmaster of the Minnesota Orchestra, and the explosive Miró Quartet from Austin, TX, will also join us. They will complete the lineup that is to perform a world premiere of my mash-up of classical-jazz fusion. This is a fantastic opportunity to have my music performed by the very best, and it should prove to be an enjoyable evening.
